Diabetes Technology: Insulin Pump and CGM (Cantonese)
The focus of this YDA webinar will be on insulin pumps and CGMs, moderated by Ms Angela Chow, member of YDA council and parent member of YDA. Dr Joanna Tung will provide an educational session to introduce insulin pumps, basal-bolus insulin inter-relationship and how they work. Whilst 2 YDA members, Crystal Sze and Sammi Tsang, will be sharing their experience of navigating diabetes management at schools. Crystal and Sammi are both an experienced Type 1 diabetes insulin pump users. Also, we invited a mother of a 5 years old children with Type 1 diabetes to share her insulin pump experiences on young children.

本研討會將集中介紹胰島素泵及連續血糖監測儀的資訊。研討會由YDA委員會成員及會員家長 Angela Chow 女士主持，並邀得兒科內分泌科的童月玲醫生向大家講解「如何運用胰島素泵」及「基礎及速效胰島素混合劑的相互關係及作用」。另外，大會邀請了2位YDA會員Crystal Sze小姐和Sammi Tsang小姐分享在學校管理糖尿病的經驗和心得，Crystal和Sammi均是一型糖尿病患者並擁有資深的胰島素泵經驗。此外，我們亦邀請了一位5歲一型糖尿病童的母親Pheobe Wong小姐與我們分享幼童使用胰島素泵的經驗。
