The Financial Assistance Programme (FAP) is aimed at helping financially-needy families by subsidising their purchases of diabetes supplies such as blood sugar testing strips, pen needles and lancets, and doctor’s consultation expenses.
Applicants should be under the age of 18 or full-time students diagnosed with diabetes, up to the age of 25 only. Upon approval, reimbursement will be made to the patient, or to the patient’s guardian if the patient is a minor, once valid original receipts for the purchase of diabetes supplies are received.
